Been Quiet lately…
I’ve been doing the YouTube thing more than the written blog thing lately. It’s funny how some people start things with good intentions and then never bother finishing them. I suppose I’m the same. Look at me; I haven’t written in this thing for weeks.
Lindsay and I are about to go on a trip to the Gold Coast for a week. We leave on Tuesday. We haven’t really planned a whole lot yet but I expect it will all come to us when we get there. His sister is coming with us but she is staying with Lindsay’s grandparents. We’ll spend some time with his grandparents and there will be a bit of a “family outing” to SeaWorld.
We won’t really visit the other parks as they’re not entirely our thing but we’ll see how the mood fares! I would like to go off exploring a bit and being the geek that I am I’ll be ready with my GPS and laptop, tracking down a few geocaches. I will have a look tomorrow and find out which ones are nearest the hotel 
I lost my phone in a drunken rampage on Friday night so I feel helpless. I’m stuck using a Nokia 3330 with no numbers in it, no GPRS access… how are you supposed to go geocaching if you can’t connect to wap.geocaching.com !! Grr No matter. Lindsay’s phone has GPRS connectivity but I just hope we don’t use up too much of his credit fooling around with it!
Oh, and if anyone actually reads this, which I doubt, please do send in a few recommendations to where we might visit. We’re the exploring type and we’ll want to get out and see and do things without getting caught up in the commercial touristy stuff!!
Somebody asked me to send them a postcard and I said I would but I don’t know who that person is. Oh well! When I was in Canberra last year I posted a postcard back to the office so I think I’ll have to do the same this time around.
